Gilbert Meza
Gilbert, Archonomy's construction foreman, has over 15 years experience in the construction industry. He is proficient at plumbing, electrical, framing, all masonry, rebar and foundation work as well as drywall. Gilberts’ role as a foreman is to maintain the job on a forward moving path, to instill all safety awareness and keep a clean job site. Gilbert is responsible for getting the jobs done making him a key element to the success of archonomy.
Chris Dahowski
Chris Dahowski received his Masters Degree of Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), a school primarily focused on Design. Chris spent several years in NYC where he designed and built two custom lofts in the Tribeca district. Although he had no architectural practice at the time, he on his own, designed both spaces and completed the build out of each of them. It was this hands on experience that would prove to lead Chris on his path to finding Archonomy. He later moved to Los Angeles, CA, and set up practice. Chris, also obtained his General Construction license establishing Archonomy as a reputable design-build firm in the Los Angeles area. He has a vast knowledge of building forensics, as he is a hands on builder and acts as a project manager on many projects.
Joseph Um
Joseph earned his Bachelor Degree of Architecture at Cal State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1989. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Review Board. Joe is a Registered Architect in the state of Arizona as well as the state of California. He has worked with Hellmuth,Obata,Kassabaum (HOK) as a designer and many other firms in the Los Angeles area. Joe brings extreme design knowledge to the firm as well as large-scale master planning and feasibility study. He has worked on The Naval Hospital Camp Pendeleton, Providence Saint Joseph Medical center 200,000SF Bed tower, Kaiser Permanete LA, Yonsei University Medical Center in Seoul, Korea, among many others. Joe acts as a key designer as well as a project manager.
Norbert Bazan
Norbert brings to the firm the eye of a master cabinet builder and a journeyman. He has more than 40 years experience in cabinetry and general construction industry. His mill shop is located in the heart of North Hollywood where he constructs all his cabinetry and does all of his own finishes. He has worked in the past with Poggenpohl where he was responsible for setting up their showroom at the Pacific Design Center and installation of very high end Cabinetry for clientele. His eye for detail on the job is painstakingly accurate and adds his experience as a project manager on jobs as well. He joined the Archonomy team in 2017 on a full time basis.
Alastair West
Alastair is working towards his journeyman status. He has been with the Company for 2 years and serves in material handling and quality control of materials. He has knowledge of multiple trades and assists in various areas. Alastairs' main duty is to keep the job rolling forward with supplying materials need to complete the job.
